Overview
Are you looking to break into a stable, high-paying trade? Lloyd’s Plumbing and Heating is seeking a hardworking and reliable HVAC Pre-Apprentice to join our team. This is an entry-level “earn-while-you-learn” position designed for individuals with a strong work ethic and mechanical curiosity. You will work directly under the supervision of experienced lead technicians, assisting with installations and maintenance for residential and light commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Support: Assist in building sheet metal and installing new heating and cooling equipment.
- Job Site Prep: Stage tools, parts, and materials; load and unload company vehicles.
- Maintenance: Assist with routine system check-ups, filter changes, and cleaning of HVAC units.
- Organization: Maintain clean and safe worksites, stock trucks, and run parts between the shop and job sites.
- Professionalism: Maintain a positive relationship with customers and team members through clear communication.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in varied environments (attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors). • Reliability: Punctuality and a dedicated “can-do” attitude are essential.
- Experience: No prior HVAC experience is required—we are willing to train the right person. Previous construction experience is a plus.
